Shanta was married to Rig Rishi, son of Maharishi Vyandak. One day when the distributors were bathing in the river, they emit in the river itself. The water was consumed by a diamond, which resulted in the birth of the Ringer sage. Once a Brahmin went to Raja Ramapada to help him in the field of crop production, the king did not pay attention to his point. Angry over the insult of his devotee, Indra did not let the rain subside, due to which it became dry. Then the king called on the Ringer sage to sacrifice. There was heavy rain after the sacrifice. The public was so happy that there was an atmosphere of celebration in Assam. At that time, Anni in and Rompad decided to give their adopted daughter Rita to the Ringer sage.

It is said in the south Ramayana that King Dasharath and his three queens were worried about who would be the successor if he did not have a son. To relieve their anxiety, Rishi Vashisht recommends that you should bring your son-in-law Yajna with your son-in-law Rig Rishi. This will bring the son.
